The Church Choir
Most of the choral music at All Saints Church is provided by the traditional robed choir of adults, choral scholars and trebles. It has a very wide repertoire and achieves high standards.
The treble section is around twenty strong. It is supported by a regular membership of six altos, four tenors, four basses and two light-voiced adult sopranos. In addition, the choir draws upon a pool of occasional singers known as the Associates for larger events, to deputise when regular singers are absent, and to cover any vacancies.
The choir sings every Sunday at the 9.30 Parish Communion and at a 6.30 Choral Evensong twice a month. It also sings at other festivals, civic events, concerts and provides cover for cathedral choirs during holiday periods.
The choir rehearses before services and on Friday evenings.
