THE CHOIR AT WESTMINSTER ABBEY

 

We look forward with great eagerness to our choir's stay at Westminster Abbey during the last week in July. They are in residence from 25thJuly, and during, the week will sing Evensong every day except Wednesday, and where they will also sing Mattins at 10.30a.m. on Sunday 31st July. Evensong will be at 5.00 p.m. from Monday to Friday (excluding Wednesday), and at 3.00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. The music will be as follows:

25th July: Psalm 94; Brewer in D; 0 Quam Gloriosum (Victoria)

26th July: Psalm 85;     Noble in B Minor; Rejoice in the Lord (Redford)

5.00 P.M

29th July:   Psalm 96;   Tallis Short Service; Come Let's Rejoice (Amner)

30th July:   Psalm 97;   Wood in D; Praise to God (Campbell)

31st July:   Venite;  Psalm 46; Stanford in B Flat; Te Deum;

10.30 a.m.  Jubilate;   Like as the hart (Howel’s); Hymns 252 and 296 (A&M)
